Will my house be big enough to host an Animal House Zoo experience or do I need to hire a venue?

As long as the people participating in the party can be seated in the room then space won’t be an issue. The animals won’t take up much room, as they will be in their travel carriers. Of course, for larger parties you may feel more comfortable hiring out a venue/hall.

Are the animals safe to handle or pet?

Yes the animals are all very tame. The age and ability of participants will determine which animals can be held, but we have animals suitable to ensure everybody’s enjoyment.

How do I pay?

Payments can be sent via bank transfer (Bacs). A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking with the outstanding payment due 5 days before the event. If you are unable to make a bank transfer please contact us so that we can discuss other payment options.

We understand that a cheque is often the easiest form of payment for certain events and we will gladly accommodate this. However we do require that you arrange for the cheque to have cleared in time for your event.

Which animals will attend?

When you enquire we will send you a list of all available animals at that time. Animal types may vary slightly due to circumstances beyond our control but we update our list regularly. If there are any animals on the list that you don’t want to attend your event then just let us know. To see a range of our animals click here.

What time will you arrive?

For display events and schools we will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event starting, giving us time to arrange the tables and runs. For birthday parties we will arrive approximately 15 minutes before the experience begins to safely unload the animals.

Can the animals bite?

Although our animals are handled daily and are therefore very tame, animals can bite and scratch just like everyday pets. To keep all risks to a minimum we supply towels for animals with claws, we only bring the animals if they are in full health, we ensure our animals are never over handled, and throughout the event our staff will show you how to correctly hold/pet the animals to avoid any discomfort.

Might the animals wee or poop on me?

Yes! It’s unavoidable, the animals might wee and/or poop on you. However, we are prepared for this and we carry baby wipes, kitchen towels, hand sanitizer, and poo bags on us to every event. After you have handled the animals it is important that you wash your hands with warm soapy water even if you weren’t unlucky enough to get pooped on!

Do you provide party invitations?

Yes we do! Click here to choose which style you'd like.
